US Weekly's Hot Hollywood party was unabashedly glitzy. I regularly read their magazine for all of the hottest celebrity gossip, so when I heard they were throwing an exclusive
celeb-inspired event at
Splash in Boston, there was no way I wasn't going to be there for it!
After posing for pics at the
step and repeat,
Katy and I went to the bar and had our pick of 3 fun mixed drinks. I decided on the appropriately named
Hot Hollywood which was made with Stoli Blakberi vodka, pomegranate juice, and Sprite. An interesting combination that was surprisingly really tasty!
The venue was perfect, with a cozy rooftop deck, plush seating, and VIP cabanas lining the perimeter. The party felt classy and intimate and wasn't overcrowded (a plus!). We had the opportunity to hang out with local fashion bloggers Jaime of
La vie J'aime and Neira of
Miss Neira. Both girls were lovely in person and we had a great time chatting and chowing down on the passed hors d'oeuvres.

You know what's funny is that my boyfriend and I dated for 2 years before it was long distance and I missed him more when I didn't see him for a couple of days during the week than I do now when I don't see him for two weeks.
